NEW: Pre-Team and Mini Sharks 2026 Season Info
New this season, we are expanding our Pre-Team Program to also include a NEW "Mini Sharks Group!" Mini Sharks is a step just below the "Pre-Team" but practices at the same time, and is considered part of our team!!! Adding this additional group/level will allow our coaches to meet our littlest sharks where they are, and provide them with the BEST SHARK SUMMER EXPERIENCE!
Those who participate in BOTH our Pre-Team and our Mini Shark Program will experience a safe and nurturing environment with coaches who are IN the water with the swimmers, providing a lower swimmer-to-instructor ratio.
Benefits to our Programs:
- It's a great way to improve swimming abilities while also having fun with other children the same age.
- It's also a terrific way for kids to begin to learn the basic breathing and stroke techniques, gain endurance and confidence in the water, and be a "part of the team!"
Mini Sharks Requirements & Goals: (typically for our youngest, and is the "lowest" entry level)
Pre-Team Sharks Requirements & Goals: (a level up from Mini Sharks)
Practice Times: (NEW MORNING PRACTICE TIMES OFFERED!)
- Practices will be held:
- Mornings:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:00-11:30 (June 16 - July 9)
- Afternoons:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 4:00-4:30 (June 1 - July 9)
- Mornings:
- Swimmers may attend as many (or as few) practices as they like! No requirements!
Meet Options for all Pre-Team Sharks: (participation is NOT required, but is encouraged!!)
- All HOME B Meet - first event "kick board" races!!!
- Manchester Farm Mini Meet - Date TBD
- Stars and Stripes Kick Board Race: Friday July 3rd
- Lollipop Meet at the end of the Season: Friday, July 10th
*** The first week of practice will consist of an assessment by our Seven Locks Coaches for placement in either "Mini Sharks" or "Pre-Team" ***
