Coaches
Coach Steph has loved the MCSL since her first races as a Kenmont Tsunami at age 4! Her favorite stroke was (and still is) backstroke! She proudly remembers being one of the best 12 & unders in the county in 50 backstroke! Steph grew up swimming year-round for Titans Swimming and Aquahoyas Swimming. At age 15, Steph joined the Kenmont staff as an Assistant Coach and has been coaching ever since. Steph was captain of her high school team for two years, and went on to coach the Einstein High School swim team for several seasons. Steph has been a Head Coach and Programs Director with FINS Swimming since 2014, where she is influential in the training and development of younger coaches and senior staff, as well as the design of program curriculum that focuses on bringing the fun summer swimming mindset into the winter swim world. Steph is excited to join the Seven Locks Sharks for her 4th season as Head Coach!!
Andrew has been a Shark since he was 6 years old. He started club swimming when he was 9, and swam with FINS, Sea Devils, and All Star Aquatics (ASA). He has been coaching for many years, and he loves to work with kids of all ages and experiences. This summer, Andrew will be a rising second year at UVA where he is also a member of the Club Swim Team. He is really enjoying his time at UVA with his teammates and friends. Andrew is excited for another year with the Sharks! Let's Go SHARKS!
Healey has been a member of Seven Locks Swim Team since she was 6 years old. She began swimming year-round with All Star Aquatics when she was 7. Her early start and love of the sport lead her to become one of the strongest and fastest female swimmers in Montgomery County. In high school, Healey served as captain of her team during her Junior and Senior year at Walter Johnson. She recently completed her freshman season at William & Mary and is a valuable member of the William & Mary Swim Team. This season she was part of the record breaking 4x100 free relay (Go Healey)!!! Healey loves coaching the Sharks and is looking forward to another season of great memories! Go Sharks!
